Privacy Policy

In short: CricLive does not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect, store, or sell any personal information. Everything you set in the app — your favourite team, saved matches, language and theme — stays on your own phone.
1. Who we are
CricLive ("the app") is published by Rankerway, Mansarovar, Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. In this policy "we" and "us" mean that company.

2. Information we collect
We do not collect any personal information. The app has no sign-up, no login, and no user accounts. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, contacts, photos, or location.
We do not run any analytics software, and we do not use any third-party advertising network (such as Google AdMob) inside the app. There is no advertising ID, no SDK from an ad company, and no tracking of you across other apps or websites. We do not build a profile of you.
The app does show a small number of adverts, but they are our own: the picture and the link are stored on our server and chosen by us, not by an advertising network. See section 6 for exactly what that involves.
Our server does keep ordinary web-server logs — see section 4 for exactly what those contain and how long we keep them. If the app crashes it also sends us one short error report — see section 5.
3. What is stored on your phone
The app saves a small amount of information in your device's own storage so that it works the way you left it. This never leaves your phone and is not visible to us:

You can delete all of this at any time: open Settings → Clear saved data, or simply uninstall the app.
4. Our server, and services the app connects to
Scores, scorecards, series, rankings and records are fetched from our own server
at cricliveline.com. That server collects the cricket data once and serves it to
everyone, so your phone does not fetch scores from the cricket data provider directly.
Like any website, our server writes a standard access log for each request: the IP address, the time, which page was requested, and the app or browser version. We use these logs only to keep the service running and to stop abuse. They are not linked to any identity, not used for advertising, never sold, and are deleted within 30 days.
One thing still connects straight from your phone:

When your device makes that request, Open-Meteo receives standard technical information — including your device's IP address — as happens with any internet request. We do not send them any personal information about you.
Team logo images used to be loaded straight from the cricket data provider
(g.cricapi.com), which meant their servers saw your device's IP address. That was
changed on 28 October 2026. Our server now stores those images and serves them from
cricliveline.com, so your phone no longer contacts the provider for them.
Cricket data reaching our server comes from CricketData.org. Our server contacts them; your phone does not.
News headlines are read from public RSS feeds by our server, not by your phone. Tapping a headline opens a page on cricliveline.com that shows the headline and a link out to the publisher's own website; only if you tap that second link does your phone contact the publisher.
5. Crash reports
If the app hits an error it cannot recover from, it sends one short report to our own server so we can fix it. That report contains only four things: the error message, the name of the screen where it happened, the app's version number, and the Android version. It is sent at most once per session.
It does not contain your name, any account (the app has no login), any device
or advertising identifier, your location, or anything you were looking at or typed. Nothing is
sent to any third party — the report goes only to cricliveline.com, and it is kept
only while we need it to fix the problem.
6. Adverts
Some screens show an advert. These are sold and placed by us directly; no advertising network is involved, and no advertising ID is read from your phone.
So that we can tell an advertiser how their advert performed, the app sends us a count:
- What is sent: which advert was shown, and whether it was tapped. That is a number identifying the advert — nothing about you.
- What is not sent: no device ID, no advertising ID, no location, and nothing that could identify you or your phone.
Tapping an advert opens the advertiser's own website in your browser. Once you leave the app, that website's own privacy policy applies, not ours.
If we ever add a third-party advertising network, that would change what is collected — and we would update this page before it went live.
7. Location
The app does not use your device's location and does not ask for location permission. Weather is looked up from the name of the cricket ground shown in the match — not from where you are.
8. Notifications
If you set a reminder for a match, your phone schedules that alert on the device itself. There is no notification server, and we are not told which matches you follow. You can turn notifications off any time in your phone's settings.
9. Children
CricLive is a general-audience sports app. It does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13. Since we collect no personal information at all, no such data can be gathered through the app.
10. Data security
All connections between the app and our server use encrypted HTTPS. Your preferences stay on your own device, and our server holds no account, profile or contact details for anyone — the only record of a visit is the short-lived access log described in section 4.
11. Your rights
We hold no account or profile about you, so there is nothing for us to export or correct. The information saved on your device is fully under your control — clear it from Settings → Clear saved data or by uninstalling the app. If you want the access-log entries from your IP address removed sooner than the 30-day deletion, write to us and we will do it.
12. Changes to this policy
If we add features that change how information is handled — for example, optional sign-in, or a third-party advertising network — we will update this page and change the "Last updated" date above before those features go live.
